Update to PPT+ Indiana 2019

Updates to PPT+ programs are, unless otherwise noted, ‘all-inclusive’. That is, we only have a single update file posted, and that update includes all updates prior to it for the current year program. Additionally, when we post an update, we also update the full program install, as well. So, if you’ve just downloaded the current full program install, there’s no need for the current update, because you already have it.

Assessor database notes: Occasionally, it gets brought to our attention that there is an incorrect address in the assessor database.  The database that we provide comes directly from the state, typically just the day before we release the program.  Sometimes, addresses there get changed AFTER that – which may, if you’re filing in a county that changed, necessitate updating info in PPT+ if you’re printing assessor labels, etc.  It’s easy to do!… simply start the program, enter a user ID, close the returns list, click the Tools menu, then Maintain Assessor Database.
2019-04-26 – The address for Vanderburgh County should be “1 NW Martin Luther King Jr Blvd 227” – not “22”.  That address got longer this year, and we discovered that our database field was one character too short to accommodate that, and it truncated.
2019-05-08 – The White County Assessor address should be PO Box 246.
2019-05-08 – The Tipton County zip code should be 46072.

• Added a utility on the Settings screen to do a global change to the name and title of “authorized person”, as well as phone number and email address in the signature block of all returns.
